…in which a rescue lurcher’s woes are cruelly continued (…or so she’d have you believe).

Further to our last Duffywatch update. We recently found another instalment of Duffy’s story before we met her, courtesy of the wonderful Dogs Trust, which has some lovely footage we’d not seen before (click on the video below if you’d like to see it too).

In breaking news, however, intel from “a close source” suggests that this rescue dog’s apparent happy ending has been blighted, as she continues to be tret egregiously. For photographic evidence of her current travails, see below.

“What fresh hell has now been inflicted upon this poor lurcher?”, I hear you cry, “Hasn’t she suffered enough??” It seems, however, that her new so-called “family” made her wait for WHOLE MINUTES as a bowl of freshly-made chicken stock cooled. “But we didn’t want her to burn her mouth”, whined the cruel dastards, in a flagrantly weaselly attempt to exculpate themselves.
