Between the death of Alexander the Great and the Rise of the Roman Empire, there was an age during which Greek culture spread all over the Mediterranean world.  Following Alexander's conquests, it extended into Egypt and Asia too.  It was time of great dynasties – the Ptolemies, the Seleucids – and of magnificent cites – Pergamon, Alexandria, Antioch. 

In this first international age the arts and sciences flourished, gigantic temples and wonders were built, and new schools of philosophy were founded.  Come with us on the tour of a lifetime!
