…and we’re back!
Crikey. How is it nearly the start of the new academic year?! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer, and have managed to catch up on the things we’ve all so missed over the last 18 months.
Thank you for bearing with us in the last few weeks, as we took some downtime amidst the taster sessions. There are still a few communications on which I need to catch up - for which apologies - but I’ll get there over the next few days. I’ll post again once term is underway, with news of Wright History developments and plans. But for now…
We very much enjoyed taking things at a slower pace for a while. Robert had fun reacquainting himself with his stirring English classical music and the late and beloved Clive James’ oeuvre.
I had much cryptic crossword fun and continued to binge-watch Dexter and Borgen (bring on the the new series, O TV gods). And we both enjoyed some laid-back cooking, sleep, barbecues, and general relaxation, with Duffy enhancing proceedings throughout (see Duffywatch for further updates, including news of me Venturing Into <shudder> Nature).
There’s still time to register for some of the coming term’s courses. We know that several of you held off booking earlier in the year - not least due to being understandably fed-up of even contemplating zoom or the prospect of autumn! - so in case it’s of use, voila a reminder of what Robert’s up to from next week: Upcoming and current courses — Wright History.
We’re so looking forward to seeing you all soon, and catching up with what you’ve been up to!
