From the fairs of Champagne to the spice routes of the East, we will examine the history of trade during the Middle Ages. Themes will include the wool trade between England and the continent, the Italian maritime republics, the African gold trade, and the Silk Road.

10 weeks, Friday 21 January - Friday 1 April (incl., with half-term break on 25 February)
