This thematically led course considers key examples of arts and culture in the 18th century. Taking as a connecting theme the extravagantly ornate styles of the Rococo period, we will explore Europe's cultural landscape. Sessions will include Peter the Great's Russia, The Careers of Mozart and Haydn, and Voltaire and the Enlightenment.

10 weeks, Monday 20 September – Monday 29 November (incl., with half-term break on 25 October)

Please note that this is a WEA course, and can only be booked directly with the WEA. For further details and booking, please follow this link.
