Join us on a thousand-year journey which will take us from the first Rus settlements on the Volkhov and the Volga to a powerful empire spread across eastern European and northern Asia.

Along the way, we’ll meet such powerful figures as Alex Nevsky, Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Catherine the Great (huzzah!) and Lenin. Throughout, we will marvel at Russia’s unique relationship with the arts - from icons to ballet, and sacred architecture to the world’s most powerful literature.
