You will all, I’m sure, be aware that there are multiple reports on how shortages may blight our Christmas this year - Christmas trees, pigs-in-blankets, toys, books… where will it all end…??

But do you know what isn’t in short supply? That’s right - Wright History courses!! Needing some Christmas shopping list inspiration for, e.g., your wonderfully intellectually-curious friend who has everything and is impossible to buy for? Or perhaps for your beloved uncle who loves exploring new things but can’t get about as much as he used to? Why not give the gift of learning?!*

*[Hmm. I seem to have got carried away there, and fallen into cheesy ad-speak. I hope you’ll forgive me on this occasion, though. I am actually rather excited about this. So without further ado… <drumroll, please>]

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m delighted to announce that you can now, should you wish, treat your nearest and/or dearest to a Wright History course,* via one of our shiny new Gift certificates!

*[or a contribution thereto]

And as if there weren’t enough excitement* our shiny new Gift cards are available right here, on our website, via our shiny new secure online checkout!

*[Hmm… I might need to get out more to reacquaint myself with other excitements. Anyway…]

That’s right - we’ve bitten the bullet and invested in a website upgrade, so you won’t have to faff around with a BACs transfer or posting a cheque (although those are still options should you prefer them).*

*[The plan is to make all of our freelance courses available to book here via our store, but there are additional cost implications, which mean we have to do some serious number-crunching before moving everything there.]

Please note that our Gift cards are for our freelance courses only - i.e. they are not valid for third-party courses (e.g. via WEA or PLACE).

So there we have it (to hijack one of Robert’s phrases). Hopefully, your Christmas shopping list has just got a bit easier - and you won’t even have to move from the comfort of your own home. No need to venture out into the cold or to brave Storm Arwen!

Christmas crisis? What Christmas crisis??*

*[Oh dear. This, however, may yet constitute a crisis…]
